Wedding cake toppers





We've been married since last year, and didn't have a cake topper for our cupcake tower, so since I fancied some figurines to sit next to our photos, and also wanted practise making a bride and groom, here they are! Bonus wedding pic of us so you can see the people and outfits I've made mini versions of.

Kittens for Eva...




For my niece's 1st birthday cake, it's her family's kittens, Milly and Molly. Milly is a short haired tabby and Molly a fluffy tabby, which is why I've given Molly on the left a fluffier look around the muzzle and tummy than Milly.

24th birthday party animals


A monkey and elephant holding some glow in the dark numbers for the top of my brother's birthday cake. Shhh, don't tell him, it's not until next month!

I discovered after doing these that the very thin windblown-look veils of some of the brides, and their flicky-out hairdos were too fragile and would break with even a small amount of handling if attempting to wrap, which is a bit of a shame. Having the veils and hair lying flat rather than flicked out makes then sturdier.
